John Lewis InStyle Box Review

Early February, I received an email from John Lewis saying that as I was a My Rewards Card Customer (a card where you get points for buying stuff) and if I spent over £70 in one single transaction before sometime in March, I would receive a free InStyle for John Lewis box full of deluxe samples. Well, I am not going to lie, it wasn't hard for me to get this box since I get everything from John Lewis. So this past week, I was told I could come and collect my box from customer services. Products I received were: (John Lewis is currently having 10% off so prices might be different. Please visit http://www.johnlewis.com/browse/beauty/instyle  for all products) James Read Overnight Tan 25ml (£25 50ml, £35 200ml) Sisley Black Rose Cream Mask 10ml (£85.95 60ml) Clarins Smoothing Body Scrub 100ml (£26.10) Laura Mercier Foundation Primer 30ml (£26.10 60ml) Lancôme Hypnôse Waterproof Mascara Black 2ml ( £18.00 full size) Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish™ Hot Cloth Cle

Sainsbury's Candles

I was in Sainsbury's the other day having my eyebrows threaded (such a relief having somewhere in town which now does threading) when I decided to have a mooch around the home department. Browsing I found these amazing candles.  Passion Flower and Mango Heady notes of peach and mango rest on passion flower, sandalwood and soft vanilla. (Taken straight from Sainsburys website as it didn't come with a card or box with any information) Wild Cotton A fresh and clean wild cotton fragrance with delicate floral undertones ( Sainsbury's website ) I remember when the candles launched in Sainsbury's and how wonderful the smelt. I was going to buy them then but I was in a rush and didn't have time. I completely forgot about them until I was browsing today and smelt them. My favourite two scents out of the 5 (my Sainsbury's only had 5 there might be more) are Passion Flower and Mango and Wild Cotton. I was also ver

March Haul

This month I've had a bit of a splurge so I thought I would do a haul post. Also I have lighted the reading column so it's not so purple, hopefully it will be much more readable now. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette   These powders give such a lovely highlight to the face. I love using them on the high points of my face. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Mood Exposure  A lovely coloured blush. On my skin tone just right for summer. Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer I was a little hesitant about buying this as I have dry skin but actually it's not too drying on my skin and since my foundations are more of the moisturising type it helps to not look over greasy or shiny. I bought all of my Hourglass products from Liberty London. Laura Mercier Flawless Contouring Palette When I saw this, I knew I had to buy it. I had always wanted to try cream contour and this looked like the perfect palette. Unfortunately, it was mostly sold

Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Bath Tea Review

After seeing a few posts and ads for The Body Shop Green Tea range, I decided to buy the Green Tea Bath Tea and Infuser. I thought the concept was excellent a detox bath for your body. I also bought the infuser because I liked the idea about not having to clean up anything afterwards. I thought since I am having a detox bath, I would also use some detoxifying products on my face so I cleansed my skin with the ESPA ProCleanser and I also used the Dr Organic Dead Sea Mineral Bio-Plasma Mud Mask. I really like using these two products together. So back to the bath, I filled the infuser with the product, which a combination of bath salt and green tea and once my bath was full, I swirled the infuser around in my bath and then hooked it onto the drainpipe. You do get some fall out of the green tea but nothing major. I do like the bath tea but it didn't really smell of anything and your bath doesn't fizz or have bubbles in it. I did enjoy it thoug

Orlando Haul

In February, my mother and I went on holiday to Orlando, Florida. It was so much fun; we went to Universal Studios and Disney World. As well as visiting the theme parks, we also did some shopping so I thought I would do an Orlando haul.  Minnie Mouse shoes in polka dots and black.       I love these shoes! They are so comfortable and they look great. I actually wear both of these quite a lot. Minnie Mouse hoodie. I love to snuggle in this.  I love the hood! Guerlain Météorites compact in Golden, Météorites baby glow in Golden and Météorites Perles De Blush. I have never bought anything from Guerlain before but when we went to Dillard's I saw the blush and fell in love. When the woman applied the foundation and powder with the blush, I was in love so I bought it. It's lovely but very limited in shades. I am the darkest shade golden but my skin tone is actually quite light f
